Letter to my future self

Looking back on this Fall semester ’21, it was quite different from last year’s Fall ’20. First, I was able to meet more new people and make new friends. Second, I learned to study more strategically than just hard. Third, I have gained insights on what, when, and how to study. Those are all a part of my progress this year.

First, Meeting new people/making new friends is always fun, and exciting. I’m so glad that I came back on campus this year to study. Because last year, I was not having the best time of my college life. I did go out and try meeting as many as people I can while sharing some of the same interests such as computer, language, culture, and food. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to meet the people I met.

Second, I had so much time of my own this semester so, I basically had to schedule myself in every 30min on what to do. It worked out for me. I was able to get a lot of work done within the limited time I had in a day.

Third, this is something I have been pondering a lot lately. It is the question of why I study. I’m coming on good terms with myself with the study I’m interested in pursuing. Computer Science and College of Social Studies. Hope I can pursue my academic plan as I have planned.
