Progress (Fall ’21) Competency

During the courses that I have been enrolled in at Wesleyan this year, I have been seeking to diversify my learning spectrum by pursuing Government, and Philosophy to Computer Science (CS). Those areas are broadening my skill not only in writing, speaking, and thinking critically to perform well in legal careers, but also, developing necessary computer programming skill sets that are applicable in various fields.

I am currently working two part-time jobs on campus which I’m gaining practical knowledge of IT/Network systems as well as tutoring peer students with their language of interest. I am responsible for helping peer students with their pronunciation, comprehension of reading, speaking, and writing in Korean.

Academic strengths and internship experiences alone do not fulfill the necessary qualities of a future lawyer. Rather, it is a positive attitude and dedication to teamwork that truly distinguishes a successful lawyer from others. I have earned an internship opportunity at Deloitte consulting firm in Boston for summer ’22.
